You say it's your birthday... well, mine almost too!

Tomorrow marks my downhill slide into my 30’s. Yeah, yeah, I know it’s still young. But older than I’ve ever been! I’m fondly remembering my big 30 celebration last year, which was an incredible trip my Mom and I shared to New York (and Keith in NY too!), London and Paris. Last year at this time we were freezing and just about to head to London (12/20). I’d give anything for a shopping spree at Selfridges right now – the best store in the entire world. Check this picture out, a dress made of SHOES? They had me at hello.

Oh, and the message line is a shout out to my birthday buddies Alyssa Milano and Jake Gyllenhaal. Because I am just sure they are reading this.

'twas the weekend before Christmas

and all through the house, not a creature was stirring – just Keith’s mouse!

We have a fun project we’ve been working on for our parents & Keith’s sister this year, but I can’t talk about it yet, obviously. Oh, this is the part that kills me about the holidays! I’m not a very good gift-secret-keeper (or receiver for that matter).

I did somehow find the time between all the work parties / friend's parties / general holiday mayhem to make a few wreaths to hang on our bedroom door, which turned out pretty well. And of course, our “holiday balls” have been hung with great care… and are one of the things I can leave up through January. Here's a holiday "yippee" for that.
