In Memoriam

Today being Memorial Day and all, we went to the San Francisco National Cemetery at the Presidio. While we weren’t exactly a day late or a dollar short, we were two hours late for the parade and ceremony. Total bummer. I hadn’t researched it, but figured things (if "things" were happening) would kick off around noon. So we got there at 11:45. It started at 10. Still, it was very neat to see the all the flags and the folks leaving what I suppose was a very moving, touching, and ceremonious celebration for those who lost their lives defending our freedom. We talked to a Marine for a moment in the parking lot, and he was a cool guy…
