WA .. WA .. WA – I had to leave!

Last weekend I spent some time in Washington, and had just the best time. I went to visit my Mom and we bought my wedding dress! Wow, what great fun we had. Yummy dinners, a few trips to Starbucks, watching movies, wedding dress shopping!... I just didn’t want to leave.

And I think the rest of my family was in much agreement about me not coming back to San Francisco as well. Everyone kept dressing like me all weekend. What’s up with that? Ha, ha! My cousin Haleigh showed up on Saturday in the same cute sporty outfit, and my Mom had packed nearly the same PJs as me for our overnight in Spokane!



In other newsy updates, I’ve just gotten a new job with my current company. As of April 2nd, I’ll be the Regional Director of Sales for Joie de Vivre (easy pronunciation: JDV). Which means, I’ll be leaving my comfy, beautiful office at the Galleria Park and moving to our corporate office. And, instead of directing the sales efforts of one property, I will have about 20 hotels under my guidance. It will be immensely challenging, and tons of fun. This is something I’ve been striving for in my career and to realize it with such a great company is incredibly rewarding.

Keith has been terribly sick for the past week, he caught some sort of flu bug at the RSA tradeshow he worked last week. I’m trying to steer a little clear, but still take a wee bit care of him! (and also, I just had to explain why I’m posting in the late eve on Valentine’s Day!!).
