All Wedding, All the Time
These final few months leading up to the wedding aren’t what I’d call hectic, but they are certainly busy (and maybe slightly stressful). In between meetings with caterers, wine & spirits reps; sourcing the right person to alter my (yay!) now-too-large-dress; working with the coordinator in Las Vegas to schedule everything; hoping we can find a ring Keith likes (because the one we bought in Seattle earlier this month doesn’t come in his size…um, why wouldn’t they have checked that before I paid for it??); thanking my lucky stars it made us think to order my ring, which they have just ONE of left in my size!; nagging Keith to finish the invitation, which is SO worth the wait!; pouring over my checklist and the budget every other second, and making ridiculously detailed diagrams for the caterer (just in case I get hit by a bus and Keith really does get to marry Lindsay Lohan instead – hey, at least they’ll have a few cool seating arrangements and great food!)… we have managed to fit in a few fun weekend activities. Believe it or not.
A few weeks ago we took a lazy paddle boat ride on Stowe Lake at Golden Gate Park. Then we bought some popcorn to feed the ducks. But, although “Ducks Like Popcorn” pigeons are more aggressive.

We went to the Alameda County Fair. Armel beat me at all the games.

And, we attended my lil’ sis Angela’s gorgeous wedding in Seattle.
Oh yeah, I also went to Cancun last month for a tradeshow. Honestly, it was work-related! I discovered this little town 30 miles south of Cancun called Playa del Carmen. It’s on the list for a trip next year already.
